The design idea draws on the heritage of rural construction, where brick is the founding co- struttive element, and is inspired by jellies. The gelosia is a window frame that is intended to block the view of the interior of a room while still allowing those inside to look out, but its meaning has expanded to also indicate perforated brick walls.
The project is thus born by rethinking and reconstructing the textures of this collective memory. It is born by valuing the wooden brick as an element for building one's own space. A simple form, but at the same time very versatile.
