MAGNANI PALACE

The proposal enthusiastically takes up the invitation to reorganize and rearrange the exhibition spaces of Palazzo Magnani.
On the ground floor, the atrium leads to the loggia, service spaces, such as the ticket office, bookshop, checkroom, and warehouse, and to the two exhibition halls, which can also be used to accommodate the public outside the exhibition for various kinds of events. The info point, which we renamed "Spazio Magnani" has access through an independent entrance; it can host educational workshops and small exhibitions. The second floor is occupied entirely by the rooms dedicated to the main exhibitions.

The display system is modular, flexible and adaptable in configurations, capable of displaying content of various types and sizes and easily creating spaces suitable for punctual events. The Exhibition Design allows the display area to be enlarged or decreased and different layouts and distributions to be made as needed.

The project works in the spaces of the Palace on a par with a stage machine. The wall elements slide on the perimeter load-bearing system, combining from time to time in different configurations, with different formats, elements and supports. It is a system that houses and integrates in a single horizontal element both the plant part and the devices for the Exhibition Design wall. The lighting system is totally integrated with the system of Exhibition Design: it will ensure lighting not only aimed at display but also at enhancing the rooms.
