HOUSE AM

The project combines the spaces of two adjacent apartments to obtain a single interior where a young Florentine family live. Similarly, the intervention includes the possibility in the future to divide and separate the rooms of the dwelling again, in view of the changing needs of the family members.

Life in this house focuses around the kitchen, the real main space, dedicated to sharing time and daily activities. It is connected to a large terrace, full of plants and flowers, furnished with an outdoor living room dedicated to conversation and to welcome friends. In addition to the terrace, the house has two balconies too, since it has views on all four sides of exposure.

This is an interior design with heterogeneous finishes and hues, which vary in different color combinations. Used materials, such as the natural essences of the many custom made and chosen furnishings, and the neutral ceramics of floors and walls, alternate dark blue, ochre, and red tones, highlighting the variety and articulation of the spaces.
