HOUSE US

In Milan, in the historical Porta Venezia neighborhood, our studio carried out the renovation of this house for a young family.

The intervention starts with the reorganization of the existing spaces organized around the central hallway, which is now furnished with wall cabinets and filter devices, as in the case of the pass-through bookcase placed in the entrance space.

The design avoids a clear separation between the sleeping and living areas, choosing to work on the fluidity between spaces, also emphasized by the continuity of the parquet floor. The service areas were redesigned to obtain a secondary bathroom and a main one, organized with storage volumes, a double sink and a shower niche.

The house is conceived as a neutral, minimal environment with white surfaces and light wood paneling, in which gray tones of the kitchen and dark colors of bathrooms alternate.
