EXPO 2015 | Competition

The theme of the "Tree of Life" in this project, not just an abstract reference image, but was the starting point from which to develop a hypothesis for the transformation of a portion of land, now empty, into an environment hospitable to new life and suitable for new uses by different populations and in different time phases, a process of "gentle colonization" aimed at creating an energetically sustainable and innovative system from the point of view of the technologies considered, an environment rich in symbolic and evocative meanings and articulated in the spatial solutions identified, in one statement, a living organism as well as a living landscape.
